Water polo: referees for the 17th FINA World Championships

FINA announced the list of the referees participating at the 17th FINA World Championships in Budapest.

All participating nations are represented: nineteen nations – nineteen referees.

Besides them, neutral referees (from non-participating countries) will work at the World Championships.

In Kazan, during the previous FINA World Championships Slovenian Boris Margeta and Greek Georgios Stavridis refereed the men’s final (SRB - CRO), while Italian Massimiliano Caputi and Russian Sergey Naumov conducted the women’s (USA – NED).

 

The water polo tournament of the 17th FINA World Championships will start on July 15 with the first women’s group round, while the men will begin on the next day.
