Candidates for the Volunteers Programme are getting closer and closer to taking part in the 17th FINA World Championships and 17th FINA World Masters Championships, the greatest event ever hosted in the history of Hungary so far.

17th FINA World Championships in Budapest and in Balatonfüred (July 14-30) is an exciting challenge from an organisational point of view. Athletes from all around the world will compete in six aquatic disciplines at five competition venues – while the OC takes care of the ‘behind the scenes’ areas as well, such as media centers, airport arrivals and departures or hotels.

Luckily the Budapest 2017 Organisers are not alone: more than six thousands of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers have already been signing up to feel the wonderful atmosphere of the FINA World Championships while actively contributing to its success.

The OC has already received and processed thousands of applications; each registered volunteer has been assigned to a personal account and received useful details via e-mail with the login information as well. By logging in, volunteers may access additional information, and may complete new forms and read the answers to frequently asked questions as well.

All volunteers already signed-up should double-check the information provided at the registration, and complete or modify it in case necessary. The new forms available are to be filled out as well, and a photo should be uploaded or modified according to the quality requirements. These steps are mandatory, they are considered as confirmation of participation. Registrations lacking all completed forms and/or photo uploaded will not be considered valid.

Applicants had more than two weeks to fill out the new forms, the deadline is Sunday, February 5, 2017, midnight.

Volunteers can turn to the OC with any questions they have through the [email protected] e-mail address.

Application is still open for volunteers on the registration platform!

The Budapest 2017 Organising Committee would hereby like to thank to all those already signed-up, and would like to encourage all those who have not yet done so – the 17th FINA World Championships, and FINA World Masters Championships will truly be a unique, lifetime experience for all those taking part!
